6 Group’s approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one that is underpinned by work in our local community and giving back to society.
Our dedication to Corporate Citizenship is led by our Founder & Managing Director James Beazley. Outside of 6 Group James is heavily involved in his local and regional community through coaching county and local Rugby union and league teams. He has been an active fundraiser for the Christie Hospital for the last 10 years and is a Director of the Corporation of Trafford College, where he is the link Director for the STEM facility and has introduced opportunities for female students in the college through our associated charity, The Girls’ Network.
The Girls’ Network
In November 2016, 6 Group hosted a breakfast event to support the launch of The Girls’ Network in Manchester.
We had a great turn out of around 50 women from various backgrounds and industries from entrepreneurs through to finance professionals within large corporate environments.
There was certainly a vibrant atmosphere in the room, considering the early start and traffic dramas. Many of the ladies were sharing stories of that one lady that inspired them at an early age – certainly the reason that The Girls’ Network resonates with me personally. One lady told me that it was amazing to be in a room full of women who were actually able to be themselves and all excited about inspiring the next generation
Throughout 2017, we will be looking at new opportunities for 6 Group to build value in society. If you’re interested in a potential partnership, get in touch.
